Senior DevOps Engineer

What you are going to do
As a Senior DevOps Engineer you are accountable for creating, deploying and maintaining software applications and infrastructure. You are going to use technologies and tools such as AWS (Lambda, S3, etc.), TypeScript (Node.js), GraphQL. Besides directly contributing to the codebase, a big part of your responsibility is work with your team, help us develop general best practices and foster a true engineering culture. Your main responsibilities are to:
- Automate the processes of building, testing, deployment, and cloud infrastructure using CI/CD pipelines and scripting languages such as Bash, Node.js, AWS CLI, and CDK
- Manage cloud infrastructure with a focus on AWS (Lambda, S3, CloudFormation, CDK) and Azure DevOps, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability
- Enhance system observability and troubleshooting, leveraging Splunk to analyze logs and optimize performance, develop custom metrics and dashboards
- Optimize software delivery by improving tools, scripts, and performance monitoring, observability tools (Splunk, CloudWatch, Instabug)
- Collaborate with development teams to provide deployment services across the entire software lifecycle, ensuring seamless transitions from development to production

Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, automation scripting, and Node.js backend development
- Expertise in AWS (CloudFormation, Lambda, S3) and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps)
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (DynamoDB) and cloud security best practices
- Passion for automation, testing, and optimizing performance
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- You currently live in The Netherlands
