How you will contribute to our international growth
As Claims Manager Germany at InShared you will step into a growing startup where you will be playing a pivotal role in assuring an unambiguous way of claims handling between InShared Netherlands and Germany. As a prominent member of our management team Claims & services, you will be responsible for the substantive management of our German claims handling performed by our external partner, DEKRA. This includes:
Maintain daily operational contact with DEKRA, focusing on building and nurturing a trusted relationship. You will be the primary point of contact for questions and concerns. Together you will be monitoring, assessing, and ensuring that quality guidelines for claims handling are met, meticulously evaluating each claim to uphold our high standards. Along the way you will be improving our processes to optimize our claims handling and make sure the quality and customer satisfaction amends.
On top of that you will be responsible for developing and implementing policies aligned with our Dutch operations, ensuring transparency and fairness in claims handling. You will decide on strategies for handling large claims and assess their financial impact to make informed decisions aligned with our business goals.
In addition you are responsible for preparing reservation budgets for claims, considering potential financial risks and obligations. You will manage mandates and approve payments to ensure accurate financial transactions and smooth operational processes for everyone involved. After all: We all benefit!

Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in the German insurance industry, preferably in claims handling
- Relevant, insurance-related education
- In-depth knowledge of relevant German law & regulations
- Strong communication skills with an international perspective
- Willing to commute between the Netherlands and Germany on a regular basis
- A must: you are fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
